The Next Generation Energy Experience is our program for young talent and consists of two components: the Next Generation Energy Challenge and the Next Generation Energy Day. The goal of the program is to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering—and specifically in our research areas of building energy, thermal engineering, and energy storage—as well as to spark and deepen their interest in these topics.
NGEC26 - Next Generation Energy Challenge
The Next Generation Energy Challenge is a competition for high school students. You’ll build your own engineering project, either on your own or in teams. We don’t want to reveal any details about the challenge just yet. After about two months of work and evaluation by our institute’s jury, you’ll have the chance to present your results as the grand finale at our Next Generation Energy Day. In addition to participation rewards, the best teams can look forward to some especially great prizes! You can find more information via this link.
