On September 30, 2026, the Institute for Building Energy, Thermal Engineering, and Energy Storage at the University of Stuttgart invites all interested middle and high school students to the Next Generation Energy Day! This exciting event will take place in Room V47.01 and offers the opportunity to learn lots of fascinating things about energy.
You can register via this link. The tentative registration deadline is July 31, 2026. Registration will remain open as long as spots are available.
Energy Day is part of our youth development program and consists of two components: the Next Generation Energy Challenge and the Next Generation Energy Day on September 30, 2026. The goal of the program is to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering—and specifically in our research areas of building energy, thermal engineering, and energy storage—as well as to spark and deepen their interest in the subject.
What can you expect?
Interesting short presentations on current research topics, exciting experiments on physical phenomena, insights into everyday university life, as well as opportunities for discussion and exchange

This event is the perfect opportunity to learn more about energy, research, studying at the University of Stuttgart, and our institute; to gain new perspectives; and perhaps even to discover a new area of interest.
