By public transportation

The area of ​​the University of Stuttgart Vaihingen is very well connected to the Externer Link Stuttgart S-Bahn network(VVS). Between Airport and University Station run four (S2, S3), between Central Station and University Station six S-Bahn trains (S1, S2, S3) per hour. The management of the institute is on the 2nd Floor of the Pfaffenwaldring 6, laboratories are located in the Pfaffenwaldring 10.

By car

Coming from the motorways A8 and A81 you reach the motorway junction Stuttgart and from there you drive the A831/B14 in direction to Stuttgart-Vaihingen and Stuttgart city center. Leave the main road B14 at the University exit and follow the signs. At the first opportunity, turn right into the Pfaffenwaldring. After about 150 m you turn left (second possibility) and get to the parking lot. From there it is only a few meters to the Institute building, Pfaffenwaldring 6.
